What a tremendous class! As a guardian of a very intelligent, high-functioning Autistic child, this class was empowering, encouraging, enlightening, and very informative! The tips, techniques, and tools provided were so very helpful on this journey. I loved the humor and practical approach! As an educator of 20+ years, with students of mixed abilities, Building Bridges is an excellent resource for educators. It provides clarifying approaches to supporting AU students while enhancing teacher knowledge and awareness. It supports AU awareness that general educators need to support students with activities that are easily implemented in the classroom. It also yields practical activities and strategies for parents to use in the home setting. Highly recommended
